Message: Jimmy ,I want to thank you for all the years of the greatest B3 playing anywhere on the planet.I was born the on the same street as Jimmy Smith and even played in a band with his nephew in the 70's,however,there is one king of the B3.and it is the great Jimmy McGriff.Your groove has never been touched by any other player. I seen you and Groove Holmes in 1973 black expo in Philly and you smoked out the joint.Your playing on Hittin the Jug on the Starting 5 album blows me away..No one has that groove...If God came down and played the B3, he would come to you for lessons.I wish you well Jimmy
